"The West cannot expect to compete successfully with Asia as long as the Asians know more about the West than the West knows about Asia"

A Two Day Seminar
In the space of 50 years, Asia has emerged as one of the key economic power poles of the world economy. For the West,  this region represents both an opportunity and a threat. This seminar stresses the importance of Asia for companies involved in global strategies and provides a strategic framework for a proactive role.  How Western companies respond to this region will determine their strength as truly global players.

Target Audience
Senior managers involved in the Pacific Rim.  (Marketing, sales, purchasing, personnel & finance departments).

Objectives
By the end of this seminar the participants will be able to:
Understand the impact of cultural differences in doing business in Asia
Better deploy their company resources (human and financial)
Be better prepared in International negotiation and communication skills
Leave with an action plan for improving their Asian partnerships

Method
The seminar is highly interactive in nature. Through active briefing, discussion, and enactment of authentic business scenarios (drawn from the clients' own business world), participants are involved in learning and practising new skills. Case studies and role play exercises are used extensively for maximum impact.

We recommend a maximum group size of 8 -10 to guarantee maximum effectiveness of the seminar.
