Training fees donated to charity

In line with our Mission, during the past 5 years (2003-2008) a total of £202,021 from our Profits have been donated to charitable causes both here in the UK and in South Asia. We thank our clients for having made this possible.

WCP Ltd has donated to charity the bulk of its income from running a series of cultural awareness workshops for BT Exact – Improving your Remote Relationships: INDIA.

Between June and October 2004, WCP ran 12 day-long Indian cultural awareness workshops for approximately 180 BT Exact senior managers in London, Brentwood, Adastral Park and in Cardiff, Manchester, and Belfast.

Two charities, South Asian Development Partnership and Emmanuel Hospital Association, have shared more than £18,000. They will use the money to improve education and health care in some of the poorest rural areas and city slums of India.

“They are both close to my heart. Emmanuel Hospital Association has a 30-year track record of consistent quality care for the very poorest people in rural areas and is recognised by the UNHCR as an approved relief organisation for its earthquake and cyclone relief work. South Asian Development Partnership is a UK based charity based in Sutton, Surrey that helps to improve the lives of slum dwellers as one of its projects and has set up a vocational training centre in Gujarat.” - Deepak Mahtani.
