| Ram Gidoomal CBE
B.Sc. (Hons), ARCS, Dip Th, DipMS FRSA Ram Gidoomal is an entrepreneur, and former UK Group Chief Executive of the Inlaks Group, a multinational business with seven thousand employees. He is a Freeman of the City of London and a Member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and a Companion of the Chartered Institute of Management. He was made a CBE in 1998 for services to the Asian Business Community and Race Relations. He is Chairman of South Asian Development Partnership, Citylife (Industrial and Provident Society) Ltd., and Employability Forum. He is a Non Executive Director of Ampshere Ltd, and of Nirmaan Bharati (SAAVS). He is a member of the Complaints Audit Committee of the Border & Immigration Agency, a member of the Royal Mail Stamp Advisory Committee and on the Council and Board of the Institute of Employment Studies. He is a Visiting Professor at Middlesex University and author of several books including The UK Maharajahs and The British & How to Deal with them: Doing Business with Britain’s Ethnic Minorities. He is Vice Chair of St Georges University of London, a Crown Appointee and Lay Governor of Imperial College and a Governor of Kings College School, Wimbledon. |

| Deepak Mahtani
BA Deepak Mahtani has a business degree from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan and American College, Switzerland. Formerly commercial director for large multinational in Geneva involved in strategic diversification. Wide experience of cross-cultural business dealings in Far East, South Asia, Africa and Europe. Currently is International Director of South Asian Development Partnership and Managing Director of Winning Communications Partnership Ltd. Regular speaker at conferences and training seminars throughout Europe on cross-cultural negotiation and management, including “Improving your Remote Relationships”, “Becoming a Global Manager”, “International Negotiations”, “Winning the Talent War” and “Diversity Matters”. Co-author of “The British and how to deal with them: Doing Business with Britain’s Ethnic Communities” (Middlesex University Press, Oct. 2001). Deepak is of Indian origin, lived in the Far East for 14 years, Switzerland for 14 years, and speaks English, French, Spanish, Japanese, and 2 Indian languages. He is married and has 2 boys. Apart from his business interests, he is actively involved in a number of charities both in the UK and South Asia raising funds for health, development and education in developing countries .
